Denmark - a natural holiday choice

Happy Valley Chalet is located 21 km west of Denmark, close to many of Denmark's famed natural attractions.

Just down the road is William Bay National Park, which features the stunning Greens Pool, which offers safe swimming for even the youngest family members, Elephant Rocks, Madfish Bay and Waterfall Beach.

The Bibbulmun Track runs along the coast here, offering excellent and varied opportunities to get close to nature, and there are many other fine walk trails around the area.

Also in close proximity are attractions such as Pentland Alpaca Farm, the Toffee Factory, Bartholomews Meadery, Denmark Farmhouse Cheese Factory and Jassi Leatherworks.

It goes without saying that you can choose from a huge range of wineries, for cellar door samplings and, in some cases, dining and musical events.

A 20 minute drive west will bring you to the Tree Top Walk in the Valley of the Giants, an award-winning attraction which is not to be missed. In close proximity to the Tree Top Walk is Denmark Dinosaur World, which is certain to be a big hit with the kids.

Other attractions include art and craft galleries and studios, tours and cruises, whalewatching, swimming, fishing and surfing.
